      - Dr. Hillary Schweihs

      Dr. Schweihs completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky, earning a bachelor's of science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2013, and completed a one year intensive residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute. She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

      She provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and acute eye care.

      Dr. Schweihs has a special interest for ocular disease and clinical research. She worked along side Dr. Katz as the sub-clinical investigator for VisAbility Scleral Mico-Implant Procedure for the Treatment of Presbyopia, which is currently awaiting FDA approval.
